In-Person Account of the Whole Exhibit

1st Step
The first step is to show your photo ID at the entry and pay for your tickets. The tickets come in the form of a very realistic passport into the Aya Universe and stickers to mark which rooms you have been able to visit.
2nd Step
Once you enter through the common space, you can immediately sense a change in your surroundings. Foreboding music and soothing smells, AYA universe is an experience that is best enjoyed with other people, as it is fairly crowded on the inside and you might have to wait for some rooms in a queue.
3rd step: Visiting the rooms
Those looking for an all-in-one kind of experience will find AYA at Wafi Mall fascinating. The best part is that you don’t need a guided tour here! You can wander around this magical immersive universe of luminous gardens and galaxies on your own.
The first room that comes up as you enter is the Source. With vivid screens of natural scenes that are pulsing energy that creates explosions of light and colour – a spectrum of universal evolution.
Aurora responds to your touch. You can create a riot of colours that move around the way you want them to and manipulate the lighting in your own unique style to create something new.
Harmonia creates a spectacular symphony of lights and music, that makes you groove to the tunes.
Flora allows you to experience the four seasons in sentient gardens surrounding a mystical tree.
Tides takes you beyond the edge of reality, immersing your senses in a harmony of glitching lights and colours.
The Falls brings reverse reality to life. What seems to be strings of pearls hanging from the ceiling are actually audio-responsive water droplets drifting upwards to create the illusion of choreographed rain.
The River leads you into the infinite. Walk through it and watch your footsteps create ripples and tides across its distant depths.
The Pool feeds The River. It senses your presence, lights up to your touch and creates the movement of light and colour that fill up The River.
Celestia brings you storms of stars, icy interstellar showers and mesmerising displays of celestial lights that will enchant you.
Luna is a universe that takes you beyond the stars. This mirrored portal creates the illusion of infinity in space, surrounding you with lunar bodies.
Drift is where you can walk among the stars or lay back on them to sense the energy around you and watch the harmony of extraterrestrial lights at play.
Outland is home to ethereal creatures that respond to your touch and movement. Meet them, interact with them or just sit back and watch them go about their usual routines.
