Gucci Osteria Da Massimo Bottura

Address: 6-6-12 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-0061

The Dish: This outpost of this famed osteria – there are branches in Florence, Seoul, and Beverly Hills – is led by head chef Antonio Iacoviello, who has become known for plating up flavours of Italy intertwined with Japanese-inspired creations like Parmigiana Ramen and Milanese Wagyu. Take seven friends and book the hidden private dining space, titled Room of Mirrors, which channels an over-the-top ornate aesthetic with antique mirrors and Gucci Decor’s trademark Radura wallpaper.

Must Order: First-timers cannot go wrong by feasting on the eatery’s signature Emilia Burger.

Prada Caffè at Harrods

Address: Harrods Ground Floor, Entrance via, 87-135 Hans Rd, Brompton Rd, London SW1X 7XL, United Kingdom

The Dish: Painted in a pistachio as delicious as the pastel pastries on offer, the caffé that is calling London’s Harrods home until January 2024 is far more than just an Instagrammer’s dream. Sure, its pleasingly logoed cappuccinos and tableware are par for the course – as is the checkerboard floor echoing that of the iconic Prada boutique at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan – but the food is certainly something to boast about, too. The Italians wouldn’t have it any other way.

Must-Order: At lunchtime, visitors can’t go wrong with the classic burrata and zucchini combo. Even a quick bite, in the form of a prosciutto sandwich or pizzette, is worth the trip.

Beige Alain Ducasse

Address: Chanel Ginza Building 10F, 3-5-3 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo

The Dish: Perched on the 10th floor of Chanel’s Ginza boutique, the maison’s tweed design codes are subtly echoed by the Peter Marino-designed cream-coloured interiors. Food, overseen by celebrity chef Alain Ducasse, merges classic French techniques with Japanese accents and is uniformly sublime, gaining two Michelin stars to become a foodie destination.

Must-Order: Go for the set lunch that consists of a seasonal degustation menu featuring two starters, a main, and dessert.

The Ice Cream Project by Anya Hindmarch

Address: 9 Pont St, Chelsea, London SW1X 9EJ

The Dish: It spanned lines around the block at its first incarnation, so it’s no surprise that this popular pop-up is returning to its previous home on Pont Street for another summer season. Traditionalists will be disappointed; don’t go expecting vanilla or chocolate. Instead, the eclectic British designer has concocted a range of 14 quirky flavours more associated with the pantry than sweet treats from the freezer. Scoop up a taste of Ribena, Branston Pickle, or Birds Eye peas, all handmade in small artisanal batches in Devon.

Must-Order: Tiptree Lemon Curd serves up cool citrus-filled nostalgia at its finest.

Emporio Armani Caffe

Address: Mall of Emirates – Dubai – United Arab Emirates

The Dish: Situated in Mall of the Emirates, under a soaring glass atrium, Emporio Armani Caffé is the ultimate people-watching spot. Whether you stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner – or just coffee and cake – you’ll find chicly dressed shoppers checking out the scene while they dine on Italian staples like crispy veal Milanese, oven-hot pizzas, and authentic pastas. Our top tip? Opt for a terrace table, which gives you prime positioning.

Must-Order: Italophiles rave about the Risotto Armani Milano, a comforting risotto with delicate saffron and 24-month aged Parmesan. Or go for the classic spinach and ricotta tortelli, Mr Armani’s favourite dish.

Blue Box Cafe

Address: 6th Floor, 727 5th Ave, New York, NY 10022, United States

The Dish: It may be painfully low-hanging fruit to inform you that heading to the Blue Box Café means that you can, indeed, have breakfast at Tiffany’s… but that’s not to say we shouldn’t labour the point. It is, after all, frivolous and fabulous fun to sashay through the hallowed doors of that (newly renovated) landmark on Fifth Avenue, whizz up in the lift, and take afternoon tea in this blue bastion of New York elegance. Michelinstarred chef Daniel Boulud’s seasonal menu doesn’t hurt, either. And if you’re not off to The Big Apple any time soon, one is also slated to open in Dubai imminently.

Must-Order: The full Breakfast at Tiffany’s menu includes pastries, raspberry granola, a buttery madeleine, and caviar-topped scrambled eggs.

Ralph’s

Address: 173 Bd Saint-Germain, 75006 Paris, France

The Dish: In the heart of the Left Bank, tucked away just off the bustling Boulevard Saint-Germain in the sixth arrondissement resides Ralph’s, a place where authentic American cuisine is brought to you by arguably the most famous living designer today, Ralph Lauren. The restaurant is particularly inviting during the summer months because of its hidden cobblestone courtyard, which comes outfitted with comfy blue-and-white ticking cushions and a gurgling centre fountain. After a hearty meal. don’t forget to head next door to enjoy some retail therapy inside the brand’s flagship store in the French capital.

Must-Order: Go for the Marylandstyle crab cake or the warm Maine lobster salad. And if you’re free on a Sunday, the brunch menu (featuring eggs Benedict, cinnamon rolls, and New York bagels) is worth a detour.
