Food Review: Sirali

Nestled amidst the vibrancy of Dubai, Sirali brings authentic Turkish flavors to life. Founded in 2022, this upscale restaurant stands as a testament to the city’s growing culinary diversity and wide variety of food options in the city.

As you step into Sirali Dubai, you will find yourself having been transported to a vibrant Istanbul oasis. The bright sunlight cascades through stained glass windows, casting colorful hues on intricately patterned tiles beneath your feet. Colourful lanterns adorn the walls and ceiling and the comfy and plush jewel-toned dining chairs add another delightful touch of personality.

This is a one-of-a-kind place where ancient charm melds perfectly into modern comfort and every tiny detail whispers of the warm Turkish hospitality.

We didn’t know as we sat down that we were in for a feast. The starters consisted of Merain Potatoes, Crispy golden potato nuggets dancing in a cool garlic yogurt dip. Each bite a delightful explosion of textures. Followed up by a refreshing Turkish Salad called Gavurdag. Next up were their specialties, Zaatar and the Stuffed Pumpkin roll served with Olive Oil.

What followed was the Denizli Castle Pepper, a grilled masterpiece with a vibrant bell pepper stuffed with a secret stuffing.

The food was accompanied by refreshing fruity and floral cocktails that elevated the whole meal and provided a perfect balance of sweet and sour. Our favourites from the drinks menu were the Prensess (gin), the Gin Pembe, and the Cosmonot.

The main course was a symphony of flavours and an assortment of various different types of meats, with the highlights of the meal being the stunning Shashlik beef and the Spicy Jet Chopped Meat Kebap.

You would think that our tastebuds had been on enough of a roller coaster but the dessert proved to be the most special part of the meal with a decadent Kunafa dripping in syrup and the Trilece being a creamy delight for those who love subtly flavoured and rich desserts.

It is obvious that Sirali is a labour of love and every detail, every dish, every drink has been painstakingly curated by a team that has put in their heart and soul to the endeavour of creating an unforgettable experience and a truly special place!
