Helipad by Frozen Cherry is a brand-new concept that brings the energy of Lebanon’s incredible clubbing scene to Dubai. It’s a unique dining and lounge space inspired by the iconic Frozen Cherry nightclub in Beirut, Lebanon.
So, you can expect a thumping modern vibe along with interiors infused with rustic charm, all under the spell of Dubai’s iconic creek. Here you can truly immerse yourself in boho beats, sip on handcrafted cocktails, and let the music take you on a journey. Think sophistication-meets-soul!
After being spellbound by the ambience, we started our meal with the deliciously refreshing Beetroot Fetta Humus, where the beetroot melds into creamy feta to become a lovely dip, perfect for accompanying some lightly warmed pita bread.
Next up, we got a sweet and tangy Mango salsa with tortilla chips for the table, following that with a flavourful Asian noodle salad.
We also ordered a variety of cocktails, as recommended by the staff, and our favourite picks for the night were – Touch of Paradise (Gin), a botanical whisper met tropical paradise in this refreshing escape, garnished with a whisper of lime, Hakuna Matata (white Rum) – for the inner island child in you, this drink is perfect vacation vibe and the last but not least, we had the Sparkling Bind (Vodka) – a light and bubbly Vodka drink that tasted of raspberries and bubbles.
For the main course, we began with Lobster Rolls consisting of soft, buttery lobster bursting forth from toasted brioche rolls and baked Fish Sushi Cups, which packed a flavour punch in each bite and reinvented Sushi into a more complex and hearty meal. Our last dish was the Umami burger, and it lives up to its name with a soft & tender Wagyu Beef patty covered in caramelized onions and aged cheddar to elevate it to a truly unique burger that deserves the hype!
The perfect end to our meal was the Pineapple Carpaccio, made with sun-kissed pineapple, thinly sliced and fanned, bathed in a citrusy sea and topped with a light lemon sorbet to really amp up the zing factor followed by the Matcha Fondant, a sumptuously rich and creamy dessert, that lingers on the tongue.
As the final notes of the DJ’s set fade, we reluctantly depart the spellbinding world of Helipad by Frozen Cherry. Satiated hearts and buzzing souls echo the truly stunning cityscape reflected in the creek’s dark waters.
